Owned and operated by chief engineer Daniel Rumley, RMAP is a San Diego based company founded in 2004. Its main goal is to provide affordable recording and audio services that are second to none in quality and professionalism. All recordings are treated with the same respect and attention to detail, regardless of the nature of the ensemble. We believe that superior recorded sound comes from a knowledge of both the craft of recording and knowledge of the recorded source. RMAP specializes in recording classical and acoustic ensembles and tries to balance presence, ambiance, and spatial imagery with a clarity and intimacy that no one else can match.
Fees:
RMAP bases its fees on a tiered system. Therefore low budget ensembles will not be charged at the same rate as a major symphony orchestra. This makes it possible to serve a larger client base, and to allow organizations to budget appropriately in order to accommodate recordings as standard practice. |
